A one month old child was brought to Wazikhaw BHC of Wazikhaw district Paktika Province. The patient was brought for sever burning due to boiling water. Immediately, our health team worked together to treat the child and implemented the first (ABCDE) protocol. The patients cloths were taken off and examined head to toe. The child had 20 percent of second degree burning injuries. The child was wrapped in a clean and dry cloth. After the pain subsided, the childs burned area was washed with normal saline and soap. After complete dressing, the patient was discharged. Mandatory instruction was given to the patients parents in terms of daily dressing and family care. Finally, after the passage of (14) days, the patient was completely healthy and the patients family was very happy and satisfied with the services of the Health Facility thanking the staff of the HF.
