17-year-old Tawab Gul, was shot in his armpit due to a tribal dispute. he was brought in hypovolemic shock to the HMLO related SHC located in Nadershah Kot district Owam village. He had a considerable blood loss.   According to BPHS policy, SHC is not equipped to manage such cases of sever injuries. However, the patient would have lost his life on the way to provincial hospital located in a distance hours away from the accident site if taken without Basic Life Support. Making the tough decision, the doctor intervened with available resources. He stopped bleeding of the patient, administered IV fluid with analgesics and provided initial life saving services to the patient. Afterward, the patient was transferred to provincial hospital in the ambulance after the patient was stabilized.   The family members were very happy and satisfied. After performing these initial services, the Doctor allowed the patient’s attendants to transfer the injured to the provincial hospital with full confidence and without any risk. In principle, all the necessary services have been provided to the injured person, so there was no additional need for any other intervention or treatment. Ultimately, after a few weeks, the patient completely recovered, and the SHC staff was honored by the patient’s relatives and community members by giving flowers to the MD and other staff to express gratitude and joy.
